So, this is it. We are heading off for three months. Simon has been putting a lot of effort into planning everything and fitting your life into two suitcases each is rather daunting. But we have done it.
One final visit to our local Starbucks and a visit from the plumber to shut off the water to our flat, and we are away…
I don’t think either of us is going to miss the cold (or the winter sun). Though having a look at the weather our first stop, Bali, might be a bit wet.
For me, this will be the longest I haven’t worked since I was 16. Hopefully I can take this time and engage in life.
